Aji is a New School Vaudevillian, former Ringling Brothers Circus clown, and a collector of useless skills.

As a child he had a dream, to be a stand-up fall-down comedian. It wasn't until running away to the San Francisco Circus Center and the Clown Conservatory that he turned that dream into his life's work.It was there that he began to develop his unique brand of kinetic comedy.

After graduating the Clown Conservatory's Advanced Program in 2006, our intrepid juggler began performing his way across the SF Bay Area. A call from World-Reknown Teatro Zinzanni in the summer of 2006 had him working as magician's assistant to the one-and-only "Confetti Magician," Yevgeniy Voronin.

Seasons changed, shows at Teatro Zinzanni came and went, but Aji stayed nearby, working as backstage crew alongside some of the most noted Circus Performers of our time. Studying under contemporary masters of the comedy craft as so many youngsters do, watching from the wings.

Then in 2008, Aji hopped aboard the Ringling Brothers Circus Train, joining Clown Alley of the 138th Edition Show, Over the Top. Counting nearly 450 shows and 50 cities in one year, Aji was proud to have been a part of the Nation's Largest Touring Circus, and one of America's most fabled institutions.

Since returning to San Francisco, Aji turned his stories of clown school and life on the road into an Award-Winning Theatrical Experience, Bad Day to be a Juggler, an official selection of the 2011 Boulder Fringe Festival, and winning top honors at the 2010 San Francisco Fringe. Bad Day is a love letter to the geeks of the world, a celebration of the oddball in us all, a choose-your-own-adventure roadtrip through Aji's ridiculous collection of stupid human tricks.

Aji, Bad Day to be a Juggler and Sourdough Productions are proud to present their latest creative project, The Useless Skill Challenge. Starting in October 2011, Aji challenged himself to learn one new useless skill per week for a year, and document his attempts. You can click here or on the Useless Skill button at the top of the page to follow along as he works his way through pointless feat after pointless feat, bringing you along with him, laughing all the way.

Where's the next stop for our adventurous entertainer? That, dear reader, is up to you.
